Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. In the movie Schindler’s list, Oskar Schindler was used by God to save over 1,200 Jewish men & women from extermination by the Nazis Regime. Oskar Schindler was a war time profiteer using Jewish slave labor to operate his businesses. His motives were questionable but God used him to save Jews from death camps. After the War those Jewish survivors gave Oskar Schindler, a place of memorial and Honor in Israel as “Righteous among the Nations”. In the movies which takes liberties with the actual facts the final scene shows Oskar Schindler a registered Nazis says,” that he is no longer the hunter but the hunted”. He breaks down crying not that he was now being hunted but that he could have traded his Nazis lapel pin to save 10 more Jews. When we see others in absolute hopeless and helpless situations, knowing the answer they seek lives in each of us as believers our prayer, “ Lord Jesus please use me to speak life into their hearts and give me your words of salvation and hope to help guide the lost on your path to everlasting life”. Anthony’s prayer request: I want to send prayers out to Carol. She’s been try to kill herself 2 times due to depression. Pray that she finds her purpose in life and that she gets to know God the Father and Jesus Christ. I also pray for my sister Shameka that’s battling cancer. I pray that I get out of jail soon that God shows me favor and grace for me not to go to prison this time around that I change my ways when I get out and be that great leader He put me here to be. I love the Lord. I pray to be a living testimony for His kingdom to be known throughout the world. I pray for my wife and kids and grandkids to be covered in the blood of Jesus and every man and woman in this jail. Amen Your prayers, support and encouragement allow us to continue the Lord’s Great Commission of taking God’s Agape love to those who Jesus Christ calls the least of His brethren .
