“Let God Arise and let His enemies be scattered”......Psalm 68:1

His disciples said, "Finally! You're giving it to us straight, in plain talk - no more figures of speech. Now we know that you know everything - it all comes together in you. You won't have to put up with our questions anymore. We're convinced you came from God." Jesus answered them, "Do you finally believe? In fact, you're about to make a run for it - saving your own skins and abandoning me. But I'm not abandoned. The Father is with me. I've told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I've conquered the world." John 16:29-33 MSG “Celebrating 28+ years of service to Jesus Christ since September 1992".

During our virtual chapel zoom service to the female inmates we discussed trials and tribulations that happen in our lives. How God can take what the enemy means for evil and turn it around for good and His glory. I noticed several of them wiping tears from their eyes and asked them if they were alright. As so many times over the years they responded, “We were sharing with each other this very topic before we came to chapel service.” I said,” even though I am not able to be there  in person because of the virus,  Jesus Christ is with you and He is confirming His word to you and His presence with you.”

The question to us today is How Big is God? The same question presented to Job when he was going through unimaginable trials and tests. Job as we know from the bible lost everything. The enemy did not leave a stone unturned in his life. God told Satan the one thing he could not do to Job was kill him. Job lost his farm, his home, his 7 children, all of his wealth and even his health, yet he did not take his wife’s advice and curse God. When Job’s friends counseled with him, they said to Job that he did everything from being bitter, faithless, committed some terrible sin and so on, Job took their counsel with a grain of salt. Why? because Job was blameless except for one door he opened to the enemy which was the thing Job feared the most and it came upon him Job 3:25 Fear cancels out Faith. Fear paralyzes Faith propels. Job was on the threshold of receiving, “Double for his Trouble.” As one dear warrior who has a ministry to women in the sex trafficking business, she literally has come face to face with death from all kinds of health issues and law suits from the traffickers and attacks from the enemy she learned that God does not want us to just know about Him but rather to know Him. The Lord is bringing her through her attacks victoriously. God listened to the false advice given to Job from his friends for 38 chapters and finally told Job to stand before Him and to girt up his loins like a man. After God revealed himself to Job, Job responds, You told me, 'Listen, and let me do the talking. Let me ask the questions. You give the answers.'  I admit I once lived by rumors of you; now I have it all firsthand - from my own eyes and ears! I'm sorry - forgive me. I'll never do that again, I promise! I'll never again live on crusts of hearsay, crumbs of rumor." Job 42:4-6 MSG God turned Jobs pity party into praise and a power filled revival. Instead of complaining Job began praying for all those around him and as said before God gave back Job, “Double for his Trouble.” After Job had interceded for his friends, God restored his fortune - and then doubled it! All his brothers and sisters and friends came to his house and celebrated. They told him how sorry they were, and consoled him for all the trouble God had brought him. Each of them brought generous housewarming gifts. Job 42:10-11 MSG
