“Let God Arise and let His enemies be scattered” ......Psalm 68:1

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why it says: “When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people.” (What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) So, Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Ephesians 4: 2-16 NIV. “Celebrating 32+ years of service to Jesus Christ since September 1992.

My wife loves puzzles. Some are more difficult than others. She can put together a three hundred piece puzzle in a few days. A friend of hers lent to her a 1000 piece puzzle and it seemed like forever putting this puzzle together, but as she neared the end, one puzzle piece, was missing. Can you imagine the time and patience it takes to put together a 1000 piece puzzle and near completion one piece remains? Now the search for the missing piece was underway. She looked on the table, in the puzzle box, on the floor yet the missing piece was no where to be found. She uses a large flat white board to assemble puzzles. She asked for my help. We prayed,” Lord Jesus you know exactly where the missing piece of the puzzle is please reveal the lost piece”. She raised the white board and hidden with in the dark part of the puzzle was the missing piece. This story does not end with the completeness of a puzzle but rather the wholeness of a soul. I was scrolling the internet and on a particular site was a picture of a lost soul staring at the cross. You could see the lost soul had a missing puzzle shape piece in his soul. He eyes fixed upon the cross revealed the missing puzzle piece. Only Jesus Christ can fill that empty void within our broken souls. Every natural soul born has this missing piece. Lost souls search high and low trying desperately to fill that empty space with everything the world has to offer. Just like putting together a puzzle you can not force a piece to fit in a space only God can fill with Him self. This unique piece is hidden and must be searched for. Jesus said,” when you search for me with all your heart I can be found. Jesus Christ said,” If you believe in God believe also in me for the Father and I are one”.  I have witnessed for many years in jail ministry God drawing empty and broken souls to Him self. When they hear Jesus knocking upon the door of their hearts and invite Jesus in, God’s Presence through the Holy Spirit floods them with His undeniable Love, Joy and Peace. Jesus said,”While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name. Those whom you gave me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. God is putting together the largest puzzle ever assembled in History. Psalms 127 says, unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Each believer is a piece of this awesome puzzle and when fully assembled we shall bring great glory to God. Just like the box top of a puzzle, God’s people will reflect to a lost and dying world, His Son Jesus Christ and not one piece of His puzzle will be lost.  Love Always, Tom & Beth
