“Let God Arise and let His enemies be scattered”......Psalm 68:1

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the daylong we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39 KJV

Being "on the same page" is defined when two or more people are in agreement. "Déjà Vu" is a phrase used when someone feels that the situation they are experiencing has already taken place in their life. Finally "a coincidence" are events or circumstances without any causal connection. These are expressions or phrases used when we cannot explain situations that occur in our lives that are God ordained or simply confirmations that God is working in our lives to draw us closer to Himself.

I asked the inmates in chapel to open their bibles to Romans Chapter 8 vs. 35-39. An inmate responds, Brother Tom even before you asked us to open our bibles I looked down and my bible was already open to Romans Chapter 8. He then asked me if he could share God's word with us. I said, yes," please come to the front of the chapel and tells us what God has put on your heart". He said, "his experience in chapel was like Déjà Vu". "I feel like I have experienced this before and do not know how to explain it". After he shared what was on his heart the Lord allowed me to use the experience as a teaching moment. Isn't it nice to be on the same page as God is on I asked? Then I looked at each inmate and said, "we are not experiencing Déjà Vu but rather Jesus knew you even before the foundation of the world and new you would be in chapel today hearing His word and experiencing His presence". Then I looked at one of the inmates who just sat quietly on the front row pew and said, yes," God has a wonderful testimony He wants to share through you". He immediately opens His bible and responds, "Brother Tom every night I read Romans Chapter 8. He said look here and sure enough His bible was pencil marked and underlined in His bible in Romans Chapter 8. Someone said what a coincidence and I said I do not believe in coincidence but rather God-incidence. Again I encouraged those in chapel that God knew they would be drawn by His Holy Spirit to chapel service and wanted to confirm the work that He already started in them. God simply wants us to open our eyes and hearts and see His infinite love and receive His love through Jesus Christ our Lord. In Christ's Agape Love, Tom & Beth
