“Let God Arise and let His enemies be scattered”...... Psalm 68:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek Psalms 27:1-8 KJV “Celebrating 29+ years of service to Jesus Christ since September 1992".

God’s Word in (Philippians 4:6) encourages us to be anxious for nothing (NO THINGS) and to pray about everything (EVERY THING) so that we may gain and seek after that one thing (ONE THING) to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of our lives. Our earthly journey is temporary but our heavenly destiny is eternal. King David, asks several questions which applies to us today, whom shall I fear? And whom shall I be afraid? How many times in scripture does God reassure us not to fear or to be afraid? When faced with giants in the Promised Land Joshua and Caleb believed God would protect His people and would give them the land of promise by trusting and following His commands. When David faced Goliath he never looked at the size of Goliath but rather remembered the times he was faced with lions and bears as a shepherd boy and remembered God’s mighty hand of deliverance. God watches over, protects and blesses His people. The wicked, ungodly and un-repentant person does not have God’s umbrella of protection. God is not obligated to defend and protect those who choose to go their own way. Jesus died for everyone but many souls today reject His free gift of salvation Luke 19:10 The Son of man came to seek and to save the lost. God does not desire for any to be lost. God desires all to come into a personal relationship with Him through repentance II Peter 3:9. Pray for an outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit upon all flesh and pray for those we love who are lost to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts. One day I was asked by the Missions Director of Trinity Presbyterian Church (Tom Danielson) to visit a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church who was held on a civil contempt charge and locked up in the Montgomery County Detention Facility (MCDF). When I visited this brother I could see the struggle with fear and anxiety he was facing and encouraged him to draw close to the Lord. He was greatly encouraged by my visit. He wrote a book on his experience through his trials and incarceration attributing God’s help every step of the way titled: CHRIST: THE PRINCE OF PEACE EVEN IN JAIL by Paul Wesley Sullivan. Paul outlines every step of his journey of court trials and incarceration with God’s Word. Now he volunteers his time through Let God Arise Ministries Inc. to minister to inmates who once were cellmates. Paul’s book takes us step by step in trusting God and standing on God’s promises no matter what difficulties we may face in our daily lives. Copies of Paul’s book are available on Amazon. We thank God for all those who volunteer of their time to share God’s unconditional love with those behind prison bars. We thank God for those who pray for and support Let God Arise Ministries Inc. What an honor and blessing to be surrounded with God’s richest treasures. God Bless You! Have a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas. Love always, Tom & Beth
