 “The God who made the world and everything in it, this Master of sky and land, doesn’t live in custom-made shrines or need the human race to run errands for him, as if he couldn’t take care of himself. He makes the creatures; the creatures don’t make him. Starting from scratch, he made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable, with plenty of time and space for living so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn’t play hide-and-seek with us. He’s not remote; he’s near. We live and move in him, can’t get away from him! One of your poets said it well: ‘We’re the God-created.’ Acts 17: 24-28 MSG  “Celebrating 28+ years of service to Jesus Christ since September 1992".


This year 2020 started with a word of clear vision and as we come to the end of 2020 we will look at 2020 in hind-sight that God himself orchestrated this year with exact precision needed to awaken the Body of Jesus Christ and to bring a distinction between those who walk in the light of His truth and those who walk in darkness and deceived by the god of this world. God keeps bringing to my mind the word Refuge. The simple definition of refuge is a safe haven, retreat, sanctuary, harbor or sanctum. The re- in refuge means back or backward thus a refugee is someone who is “fleeing backward” to find safety. Another word with the meaning of re- would be repentance. One definition which I share often with the inmates is repentance is an about face or turning around and going opposite the world toward God’s direction and plans for their lives. So if we take the two words of refuge and repentance we have an about face, a turning around and traveling backwards to our Judeo-Christian Heritage that started over 400 years ago in 1620 when Pilgrims on the Mayflower dedicated America to God and His son Jesus Christ. In 1776, God formed through our forefathers the United States of America by Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”.  Isaiah 33:22 states the Lord is our King and the Lord is our Lawgiver and the Lord is our Judge. Psalms 91:2 MSG Say this, “The Lord is my refuge. I trust in you and I am safe”. God’s kingdom is eternal. Those who think that they can topple or remove Jesus Christ from His eternal throne or from His people are greatly mistaken. God is amused and scoffs at the wicked as we see in Psalms 2. So we find encouragement and pray for an outpouring of God’s glory and revival upon all the citizens of this great nation and upon all the nations of the earth so that when Jesus Christ returns that He will find faith and expectation for His return. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Psalms 33:12 KJV May God bless you and your family in the New Year 2021!!!
